Real fresh site- whole lotta shit to look at and read on there. Also check out Leaders1354.com on myspace too. The Chi is making noise in the street culture fashion wise. On another note the day is going well, got sleep in, about to go turn in my Doc's note to the professor.

Earthling
So today I chose to stop take a seat and let the world revolve around me for a change. I picked a nice spot outside (with an electrical outlet- not ready to unplug from the Matrix yet) to set up shop. I had all that i needed: iPod, Cell phone, Smart Water, Urban Mag ("Vapors mag"to be precise -sneaker addition), and a good read which in this case is "Black Male Handbook". Now while i was out there I noticed i was getting weird looks and things, and i do admit i was in a random place [i looked like all i was missing was a cat holding an umbrella over my head with some lemonade from hotdog on a stick], but I'm sayin... people calling me weird and shit. but errr1 thought it was a good idea. Just sassing me i guess. Bought a piece of popculture memorabilia circa 2007-08, when I start uploading pics all have to put it up, its a scarf by the way. Had some nice invites for various activities tonight. Prolly just chill cause I must go to work in the morning and the car is still on Dillorian mode with no uranium. Also I sold out and bought food in the MU ( Memorial Union@Ariz state Univ) and enjoyed it. Jarad got me hooked on Chick-Fil-A and that honey mustard. I used to hate honey mustard and now im addicted Äbe you're changing!" lol what ever that shit taste good. And now i would not eat a rat if it tasted good ass hole lol.
Funny story/thought: I was in Denver kickin it with my ex's old crew, and the night was going along and everything i was getting along with erry1 just fine. Then errr1 started getting to the point where the drinks were outweighing the weed (i was sadly sober) and crazy shit started coming out of peoples mouths. By the way this is right around the time when prefaded jeans were out and had a bunch of hype. So this one cat was wearing these shorts, and everyone kept giving him complements on how nice they thought his jeans looked. I noticed that his jeans were Pure Playas, so I said damn! are those Pure Playas?!?! Them shits look new, didnt know they still made those. everyone laughin and shit but I wasn't judgin. So he said, Naw these jeans are from the 8th grade or some grade that would show they old as hell. He said once it was quiet: As you can see my jeans faded out of style and right back in [with Heineken in hand]. Now i was sober but that made me think in a funny but damn you're right kinda way. Any way thats the thought. Peace till next time.

Done with the week!!!
This week was Alpha week, and it was pretty good. Now of course I feel we could have done better any many areas but striving for perfection often leaves u with such feelings. Highlight of the week was the step show which embodied what our chapter really stands for. But my personal highlight was the Cali girls that came out to participate and also support. I love me some Cali girls. Its their swagger its their beauty, their spunk, plus they feel me from time to time, once I can convince them there is nothing wrong with a AZ boy. But let me say if I was not working the party I coulda shoulda woulda acted a zip damn fool. Before the Cali girls left they thanked us for the hospitality and would not mind coming back anytime, plus when I go to Cali I get to hang with them off GP. I guess all i gotta do is keep the smiles coming on the ladies faces and im good.
Had some interesting tx convos that had me thinkin about "that" well after the convo ended. And matter a fact I had some interesting face to face convos as well... It is my observation that the human body is not suppose to stay away continuously for 30 hours with an hour here and there. Plus i went to my brothers football game which was against my old school. His team ran over WestWood like asphalt. But i just responded with "U didn't play mothuh fuckuh" lol.
Dropped my phone again which means it is no longer nice lol. NOt too much more to report for now, really tired and studying (on break) till when ever. Many laughs this weekend.

FBDN FRT
Today i had a chance to hang out with my dad who turned 60 years old on the 1st of the month. An old bloak of a chap lol. Took him to Oktober fest during the day, but we were in Tempe, AZ so it wasn't too crounded. Ate some quisine and test drove a Kia lol. Waved at McCaine campaigners because they were smiling so much. Hung out with my J which put me on that Kanye Vid. Studying Now, but it looks like th break is over back to the POA. Peace.

Black NOtion- A blog by Black is Back BKA Abe Cox
Today is yet another day I woke up and paid for my circadian rhythm being all fucked up from years of sleep deprivation which is a consequence of having a good time so many times. I get ready and meet my ride in my drive way and drive away to destination “higher education”. Only thing higher is the price. Walking to class is always fun because ASU is such a nice school to look at (I’m payin for it so I enjoy it). Class is me sitting there trying to find focal a point so I don’t fall asleep. Teacher is insightful but lacks in any attention grabbing rhetoric. So I look at my girl’s (plutonic for now) blog and decide to finally start mines own.
Random thought: On the topic of being fresh/fly/cool/swagger/swag and all that other shit. I used to never be able to buy or wear what I wanted due to my upbringing or school not allowing a certain item of clothing. Got made fun of for jeans that fit colorful watches and polo shirts all the time. So coming to college in 03’ was a liberation for a bruthuh. I had a job which equaled money, there was no dress-code, no fashion tyranny from the parents, so I just took Andre ‘ice cold’ 3000’s philosophy and expressed myself through how I look. Before Lupe, Pharell, Wale, Nigo, Ferrari Murakami got big I looked fuckin weird lol. And I admit I did lol, some of that shit was like whoa (no Black Rob). So a basic theme I carry is that as I grow and become older, so does everything that is connected to me. For example my style my fashion my tattoo meanings my shoe size. For the cats who have been taken over by the Halo Effect (Google that), something does not have to be said in order for it to exist or come into existence. If u fly then so be it. Be fly in the New Balances, be fly in ya polo that’s not made by Polo (which is a collared shirt lol), be fly with yo hair that is in much need of a haircut, be fly before u go and buy that fit. I used to tell people I would be flier than u with ur wardrobe lol. If u saw my closet it would make u laugh how little is in it lol. There was this math problem in grade school that made me figure out how many outfits one could make with like 2 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of shoes, and some other shit, anyway ihad a random thought and randomly its over.
As a young chap I always wondered what people thought about me or how was I doing as an outstanding member of society. Never really got what I wanted. Facebook honesty box a little bit but every1 is brief on there. Oh shit! I wanted to touch on tattoos or at least mine that I get asked about daily. It is on my right arm (forearm) and say’s Proper Villain. Many people cannot read it because the ‘V’ looks like a ‘D’ to them, which is hilarious to me. The tattoo means Good and Evil. I got the thought from my top rated movies Ocean’s Eleven. The line goes as follows “It’ll be nice working with proper villains again.” In the movie it is simply thieves who are experienced. In my mind it meant opposites existing together which turned into good and evil. When people cannot read it I make up stories about it such as the key to the apocalypse or Barack Obama’s master plan in code- and that another cat who I have never met has the key and cipher- just some off the wall shit. I mean cause I know if you don’t have a tattoo and are not planning on getting one u don’t give a damn what my arm says, its not a picture nor is it attention grabbing. Shout out to folks out there with tatts that mean something.
